Over a decade ago, NED Investment, formerly known as Etjar Investment, was established under the leadership of Mr. Abdul Aziz Abdulla Al Ghurair as an independent branch of Al Ghurair Group that focuses and specializes in leasing self-owned properties in Dubai.

Currently spearheaded by his son, Mr. Saood Al Ghurair, NED® Properties is constantly shaping the leasing industry for over a decade, delivering exceptional customer service and an astounding residential and commercial portfolio in Dubai’s prime locations.

Carrying over the prestigious and prominent Al Ghurair DNA, NED® Properties started developing its own projects with the vision of delivering exceptional and luxurious real estate developments that brings out the best living experience anywhere in the city.

H.E Abdul Aziz Al Ghurair is an Emirati businessman and owner of NED Investment Group and Abdullah Al Ghurair Group of Companies, one of the largest business groups in the Middle East, with operations spanning more than 20 countries and business roots stretching back half a century. 

Under his leadership as  Chairman  of Mashreq  Bank  for nearly 30 years, the small local bank grew to become  a leading customer centric financial institution in the region known for its innovative products and services. He was elected as a speaker on the United Arab Emirates Federal National Council (UAE Parliament), from 2007 until 2011. Previously, he sat on the Board of Directors of major companies such as Emaar, Dubai Investments, Visa International, MasterCard, Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Co-Chairman of the Arab Business Council-World Economic Forum (WEF).

He was also a member of the Consultative GCC Council for the GCC Leaders and President of The Knowledge Fund, and a member of the Board of Trustees of New York University, USA. His Excellency holds an Honours’ Degree from the California Polytechnic State University in Industrial Engineering.

Saood Al Ghurair

He is currently the Vice Chairman and CEO of Masafi, OTG (On-the-go), NED Properties, and Raas Real Estate. He also serves as an Executive Board Member of Al Ghurair Investment. Saood’s strong focus on people, innovation, and optimization has established these businesses as market leaders, ready for the future.

Embodying the ethos of “nothing is impossible”, Saood has an unwavering commitment to the National Agenda and the future growth of the UAE. This, together with Saood’s passion for building businesses from scratch, is reflected in his new-age, sustainable, investments across education, healthcare, retail, ecommerce, and family entertainment.

Mahdy brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our team. With over 22 years of Immersion in the UAE market, Mahdy’s background as an architect grants him a comprehensive understanding of every aspect of the real estate Industry.

Having worked in diverse roles within the real estate and construction sectors, Mahdy possesses a holistic view of the entire lifecycle of a project. This breadth of experience enables him to envision, plan, and execute projects with unparalleled precision and innovation. His proficiency in blending aesthetic appeal with functional design ensures that our projects not only stand out in the market but also cater to the evolving needs of our clients.

Mohamed holds a Bachelor of Architecture From Faculty of Engineering, Alexandria University. Certified international real estate specialist from the National association of realtors of USA.
